These terms are written to be read. They cover how you can use Lyric Hero and what you can expect from us.
Agreeing to these terms
Lyric Hero is operated by CloudHive LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing Lyric Hero you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you downloaded Lyric Hero from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps also apply.
Your account
You can play as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
Usernames and fair play
Usernames appear publicly on leaderboards. Please do not choose a username that:
- is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or threatening;
- impersonates another person, artist, or brand; or
- contains personal information such as a phone number or address.
Also, do not cheat, automate play, exploit bugs to manipulate scores or leaderboards, or interfere with the game's servers. We may rename a username, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Music and third-party content
Songs, lyrics, artist names, album art, and music videos belong to their respective owners. Lyric Hero uses short lyric excerpts for trivia and plays audio through the official YouTube player. YouTube, Apple, Google, Spotify, and other services referenced in the app are owned by their respective companies, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those artists, labels, or services.
Our app
The Lyric Hero app, name, logo, questions, and design are owned by CloudHive LLC. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use the app for your own entertainment. Please do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer it.
No warranties
Lyric Hero is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep questions accurate and the game running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that every answer or leaderboard result will be correct. Features may change or be removed over time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CloudHive LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, scores, or progress, arising from your use of Lyric Hero. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which CloudHive LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date on this page. Continuing to use Lyric Hero after an update means you accept the new terms.
